The Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim, directly provided counter services at the arrival area of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Immigration Checkpoint, Bali, after his first immigration checkpoint officer experience at Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
He commenced his duties by serving and interacting directly with foreign and domestic citizens at the immigration checkpoint arrival counter. Additionally, the Director General of Immigration conducted an inspection of the entire immigration process at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
Through this activity, the Director General of Immigration aims to experience firsthand the challenges of being an immigration officer tasked with safeguarding the nation’s gateaway.
